I can totally imagine some ready to ambush him (assuming he/she is coming this way) I feel it's kinda odd where you put the lighter part of the image. I'm used to the golden rule or the thirds one so I'd put it a bit more to our right. But anyways it looks awesome and it's a lot more than I can do
Kind of new to digital painting. I use Photoshop CS4 and I was wondering what resolution you work in when painting usually? I guess it depends on what you end up doing with it right? For instance, if you want to print then perhaps a higher resolution. Is painting at 72 resoution bad?
Dpi is irrelevant, what you want is wide x height, and make it as big as you can. Because photoshop can only properly redraw at 12.5%/25%/50& zoom, you want to make canvas size you're comfortable on screen and then multiply it by 2,4 or 8 in size.
